Eyachts Owners Unite at Raft Up 4 Life

A Day on the Water Supporting Gotcha4Life

The day began in Sydney Harbour, with a fleet of Eyachts owners setting out early, Axopars and Pardos cruising side by side as we made our way north. What started as a small group quickly grew, picking up more boats along the coastline before forming a full convoy out of Pittwater, all heading toward the same destination.

Refuge Bay was already alive when we arrived, greeted by the Sirena 58 mother ship. The raft-up had been building for days, boats locking into position one by one, forming what would become the largest on-water music festival in the Southern Hemisphere. We cruised in just as the music was about to begin, sliding into position among a sea of boats, energy building, anticipation high.

From the moment we tied up, it felt electric.

With 120 boats rafted up, people immediately jumped in the water, swimming between boats, drifting on inflatables, paddleboards, weaving through the gaps, music echoing across the bay. Decks opened up, drinks were poured, and the Eyachts community settled into what quickly became one of those unforgettable days.

There were Awake Board demos cutting across the bay, barbecues firing on flybridges, drinks flowing, and plenty of time spent in the water. It felt effortless, the kind of day where there’s no real plan, just good people, great boats, and the freedom to enjoy it.

That’s what stood out most, the sense of connection.

Not just between boats, but between people.

Events like this bring the Eyachts community to life. Owners who may have only spoken before now sharing a drink, swapping stories, and already talking about the next adventure.

Why the Water Matters

For many of us, boating has always been more than just a hobby. It’s where we reset. Where we clear our heads. Where we reconnect, with ourselves, with others, with something simple and real.

Being out there, surrounded by water, it’s calming in a way that’s hard to explain but instantly understood.

And that’s what made Raft Up 4 Life so powerful.

Because while it felt like one of the best days you could have on the water, it was all in support of something that matters far beyond it.

More Than a Festival

Raft Up 4 Life was created by the Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay as a way to bring people together and start conversations that too often go unspoken.

In support of Gotcha4Life, a mental fitness charity, the event shines a light on the importance of connection, resilience, and checking in with the people around us.

What started as an idea has become something much bigger. A movement that unites the boating community, raises vital funds, and helps deliver mental fitness programs to schools and communities that need it most.

Together, the event raised an incredible $135,244.87 for mental health, surpassing all expectations and reinforcing just how powerful this community can be when it comes together with purpose.

A Day We Won’t Forget

As the afternoon rolled on, the music lifted, the sun stayed high, and the circle of boats held strong. There was no rush to leave, no real end point, just a shared feeling that this was something special.

For us, it was one of those days that captures everything Eyachts is about, community, adventure, and using the water as a way to bring people together.

And to do that in support of a cause like this made it even more meaningful. Eyachts were so proud to be a sponsor of something so special.
