Axoparty 2025: The Ultimate Axopar Adventure to Peats Bite
A Hawkesbury River Boating Adventure with Axopar Australia
For the second year, the Axopar Australia community came together for one epic adventure. This year’s Axoparty at Peats Bite on the Hawkesbury River was one for the books. Over twenty Axopar owners joined the convoy, representing every model from the nimble 22 to the flagship 45. What followed was a day that showcased exactly what these boats are built for: offshore performance, community, and adventure.
From Sydney Harbour to Peats Bite
The morning began on Sydney Harbour, with boats gathering under the Opera House and Harbour Bridge before heading offshore toward Pittwater. It was a spectacular sight, ten Axopars carving through the open ocean together at over 40 knots. Whales, dolphins, and seals joined the show as the convoy powered north, proving once again that few fleets can match the comfort and capability of an Axopar at speed.
More boats joined in at Pittwater, bringing the total to over twenty as the group made its way into the calm waters of the Hawkesbury River. The destination: Peats Bite, an iconic waterfront restaurant only accessible by boat, making it the perfect end to an Axopar adventure.
“The convoy is great, it’s just nice to do it with other Axoparians. There aren’t many brands that could do what this brand can do, where they can get 20 boats that come from Sydney Harbour to Pittwater. It just doesn’t happen,” emphasised Graeme, Axopar 29 Cross Cabin owner.
Peats Bite: A Venue Made for Boaters
Nestled among trees with panoramic river views, Peats Bite is a hidden Sydney waterfront restaurant gem. Long lunches on the lawn, champagne in hand, and laughter echoing across the water, this is what Hawkesbury River boating is all about.
Guests described the day as “perfect,” “relaxing,” and “everything boating should be.” The sense of camaraderie was strong, with owners jumping between boats to compare setups, share stories, and swap tips.
“It’s a really nice way to connect to a community of people. What an incredible experience,” explained Raina Axopar 29 Sun Top Owner.
Axopar 28 owner, Jori, made a heart-felt note that, “It’s just great to come and meet like-minded boaties who love an Axopar and love the adventurous spirit that Axopar enables everyone to have.”
More Than a Boat – A Boating Community
Beyond the performance, it’s the people that make the Axopar Sydney boating community so special. Owners from all over NSW, as well as travellers from Queensland and even Western Australia, came together, families, couples, and solo skippers, each sharing the same adventurous spirit.
As Jasmyn, an Axopar 37 owner from WA, said: “We have met the most incredible owners who are from all over Sydney. Eyachts brings out the community.”
Sponsors, including Club Marine, Coast New Zealand, Sail Racing, and Jobe Watersports, added to the day’s atmosphere, with displays and giveaways celebrating the Axopar ethos of fun and exploration.
