Axopar 37 Cabin Review: The First Axopar Owner in Western Australia Shares His Story
Axopar 37 Cabin Review Western Australia
In this Axopar 37 Cabin Review, Jeremy shares what it’s like to be part of the Axopar community, why he still thinks it’s the best family day boat in Australia, and how this boat has transformed his weekends on the water.
When Jeremy purchased his Axopar 37 Cabin back in 2016, Axopar boats were almost unheard of in Western Australia. In fact, his was the very first Axopar delivered to WA. Taking a leap of faith, he trusted the Axopar reviews, flew interstate for a test drive, and never looked back.
Why Did You Buy the Axopar?
At the time, there weren’t any Axopar boats in WA. Jeremy had done his research and found the brand promising, so he made the bold decision to fly to Queensland and experience the boat in action.
“I took a bit of a risk buying this boat. I bought it based on online reviews and then I flew to Queensland and test drove it. It totally exceeded my expectations. I was blown away by how well it handled, and I’ve been amazingly happy with it ever since.”
What Are Your Favourite Features?
For Jeremy, the handling and predictability are what set the Axopar 37 Cabin apart.
“I’ve had a few boats before this one and their handling was unpredictable. This boat is totally different. You know exactly what it’s going to do at any given time. It’s super dry, super soft riding, and it’s a fantastic day boat.”
That level of control has made a real difference for his family too.
“My wife feels far more confident on this boat than previous ones. It’s just a great size, a great ride, and gives you confidence.”
Is the Axopar 37 a Good Boat for Offshore Cruising?
How Does the Axopar 37 Handle Rough Conditions?
Jeremy regularly takes his Axopar 37 Cabin on extended runs, including a 100-nautical-mile trip south to Dunsborough.
“We cruise at about 30 knots the whole way. It takes about 3.5 hours and the boat handles that trip perfectly.”
Axopar’s twin-stepped hull and sleek design mean it can handle WA’s challenging offshore conditions while keeping everyone onboard safe, dry, and comfortable.
What Is Your Axopar Adventure?
Owning an Axopar isn’t just about the boat, it’s about the lifestyle. For Jeremy, that means time with friends, family, and even his team.
There is nothing like a staff perk of going boating, “I run a Mazda dealership and I take my staff out on it. They love it. It’s something they wouldn’t normally get to experience.”
With a young family this is the best family day boat, “I’ve got three boys, they’ve all learned to drive on this boat. This was their first introduction to boating. It’s a lifestyle.”
Where Does Axopar Take You?
While most weekends are spent cruising closer to home, Jeremy and his family aren’t afraid to stretch the Axopar’s legs.
“We take the boat down to Dunsborough which is a 100 nautical mile trip about once a year. But mostly it’s day trips.”
What Is It Like Owning an Axopar in Western Australia?
Being the first Axopar owner in WA meant Jeremy was ahead of the curve. But these days, he’s far from alone.
“Today is a fantastic opportunity for Axopar owners to get to know each other. Everyone feels like a real community. There’s so much enthusiasm for the brand, and we’re all sharing what we’ve done with our boats. It’s awesome.”
Why Are Axopar Boats So Popular?
The rise of Axopar boats in Australia comes down to one thing: they do what others can’t. They’re quick, safe, stylish, and easy to handle.
“This boat ticks every box. Predictable handling, great performance, confidence-inspiring. It’s a serious offshore day boat that’s also perfect for families.”
And the support from Eyachts has helped build a loyal community.
“Eyachts have been brilliant. Super generous, super accommodating. Events like today, bringing everyone together, really show what the brand is all about.”
If you’re considering an Axopar 37 Cabin in Australia, Jeremy’s experience proves it’s more than just a smart choice, it’s an adventure waiting to happen.
