BERTH A GREENLINE 39
Notes…
This is done on a single shaft drive, diesel with bow and stern thruster (Eyachts advises all customers to get both).
No need to use steering, just the thrusters and throttle.
Be aware of the wind direction and speed at all times.
How to…
Start heading straight with one click in forward
Centre the steering to zero
Once close enough use bow and stern thrusters at the same time to turn the boat (you will be surprised how tight you can turn)
Once boat spiralled with stern facing the berth, click once into reverse
Keep clicking in to neutral and back to reverse to go slower
Continue using the thrusters to manoeuvre into correct location, use short bursts at a time don’t hold down
Once in, click one into forward to stop from hitting the berth and use thrusters to hold position until tied up
It is almost too easy…
